Welcome to JoMa Foundation, Inc.
JoMa Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit organization formed to increase awareness of breast cancer for African American and other Minority Women. We hope to serve as an equalizer that will make a difference by spreading the word and raising awareness of breast cancer throughout minority communities.
Our signature ribbon, designed by Joan M. Gibson, is in loving memory of her sister-in-law, Fay Earle. After a ten year battle, Fay succumbed to breast cancer in May 1995. This battle was reflective of life’s reality, and inspired the creation of JoMa.
